Great South Run 2017

The Great South Run is taking place in October, and there is an awesome team running for The Congenital Myotonic Dystrophy Fight Fund. Our very own Sian ran it last year and will be there to cheer you all on this year!

We currently have an amazing 9 people running for The Fight Fund, but there's always room for more!

There is still time to join in, please send us a message, we would love to support you, supporting us, supporting our kids!

You can register here, and pay a reduced entry fee of just £25, with a minimum fundraising target of £250. If you enter via this page, please note it is for The Fight Fund and drop us a message to let us know. x

Alternatively, if you sign up privately we can still support you and you can raise as much or little as you are able.

My friend's son Rhys has Congenital Myotonic Dystrophy. I'm raising money specifically for the CMMD Fight Fund which is money that Muscular Dystrophy UK ring fence for research into Rhys's condition.

Rhys's mum came up with the idea of doing the Great South Run when we were at a Christmas party and when we'd sobered up we still thought it was a good idea!

Seven of us who've never done anything like this before will be Running for Rhys on 22nd October 2017.
